The Tiger was outfitted with the best big gun of World War II, the 88mm Flak gun. Yes, you read that right, anti-aircraft gun. The Tiger also sported a 88mm KwK 36L/56 anti-aircraft gun. That meant, to kill it, you would have to fire a round at the rear of the Tiger, and that’s not mentioning the fact that you had to get to the rear first. The Tiger had 120mm thick armor on the front, with 80mm thick armor on its sides. Yet, with increased weight, comes increased armor and firepower. This increased weight slowed it down considerably, and it also limited the type of terrain the tank could fight on, since some bridges were not designed to hold up something that heavy. Now, to figure out how the Tiger could be so effective in such a short time, let’s look at the specifications of the tank. Impressive stat line for a tank unit using a fairly new tank, which was used in large numbers at the Battle of Kursk…which started on July 5th, 1943. As noted by Marcus Cowper and Christopher Pannell, a German tank unit, the 503 Schwere Panzer Abteilung, claimed to have destroyed 501 enemy tanks, 388anti-tank guns, 79 artillery pieces, and 7 airplanes, starting from July 5th, 1943 until September 21, 1943. The Tiger was meant to handle both Soviet models, which it did with brutal efficiency. The Panther was also designed to combat the T-34, but that was mentioned in my earlier post. This iron war monger was designed and created as the Germans response to the emergence of the Soviet T-34 and KW tank series. More specifically, the Tiger I Heavy Tank. Six or Seven players in an online match with a battalion of "other vehicles" doing battle around them will be more believable and fun to play if you get my meaning. That my friends, is a Tiger I.

Even if they are only AI controlled, more trucks, halftracks, jeeps, support vehicles, tank destroyers etc. This might make it hard indeed to create realistic or semi-realistic missions. (2) The list of objects/vehicles in game seems to be somewhat small. How many objects can be expected in a typical online mission?
#TIGER TANK VERSUS T34 PC#
In other words, how big can the mission be without making the player(s) PC grind to a halt? Multiplay missions were going to be somewhat boring if you can only play missions with 5-6 Tigers and 5-6 T-34s. (1) If sim will indeed only allow these two tanks as player controlled (Tiger and T-34), does the game/sim have efficent enough coding that during muliplayer sessions, the mission makers can make missions where there are 3-4 companys of T-34s vs a company of Tigers or in fact only a platoon of Tigers. My concerns regarding the game/sim go something like this: I think you had some good points although they could have been taken the wrong way by NSU. Here new pictures from our "German Mod" testing (new Objekts and new Tiger Skins) The area is very big and the sight is more kilometers!!! With our 501 Team we play a game mode like IL2, 4 T34 vs 3 Tiger, it is ok and we have lot of fun, not historic, but good for historic comat tactics! Yes this is not our wish, i like this Team mode how IL2, so we have established the "Panzer Kompanie 501" for TvsT online gaming! The "Team" Mode is: Blue vs Red, but you can have the Tiger or the T34! The "scirmish" Mode is: tank vs tank, you can have a Tiger or a T34! Yes the Tanks are Simulation, but the Multiplayer option is like a arcarde game!!! You can have a Tiger or a T34, the game is not so accurate like IL2!
